We love all of our lifestyle newborn sessions, but our most recent one we loved a little more.  Baby C is the sweet daughter of one of our favorite couples from 2014.  There is nothing more rewarding than being there for a couple and documenting the day they say "I do" and then later being asked back to witness the very product of their love.  As with all lifestyle sessions, we loved being able to incorporate personal details from their home and nursery during the session.  This allows their session to be unique and more meaningful.  Baby C couldn't be more adorable (check out her lips and lashes!!).  Enjoy!

Laura + Gary (and Nina!) | Hagerstown, MD Maternity Photography

I had such a fun time at my studio with Laura and Gary, who happen to be getting ready (any day now!) to welcome their brand new sweet baby!  I love to personalize my clients' sessions to meet their wants and needs.  So when Laura (who happens to be the owner of Atta Pup - a dog training company in my building) told me she wanted a candid-style session of her and Gary with their first baby, Nina - I couldn't wait!!

Baby Ainsley | Harrisburg, PA Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

I met the most scrumptious little newborn a few weeks back while photographing Ainsley's lifestyle newborn session!  She slept the ENTIRE time.  Mom and Dad took my recommendations seriously when I mentioned feeding beforehand and a warm room/house will do wonders for a newborn session.  Because lifestyle sessions are a little more laid back and real-life than portrait sessions, it's completely ok if a baby wants to be awake the whole time...because, really, newborns don't exactly sleep on command in real life (sorry to burst your bubble expecting moms!! :) and we aim to document the real, every day life with your baby.  Well, Ainsley decided to show off her 'I'm-a-perfect-baby' skills and sleep for the whole 2 hours.  Either way, I think this session would've turned out beautifully because of all the love Mom and Dad have for their sweet baby girl!  Enjoy!

Dad works for the Hershey Company, so we had to incorporate a Kiss.

These tiny details and every fleck of skin is what you'll want to remember from these early days.
