Amy + Lewis: Married!
Amy and Lewis were married in a beautiful garden wedding on September 17 at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, VA. I had been looking forward to this wedding ever since I met them for their engagement session last November. They instantly make you feel like you've known them forever and have a fabulous outlook on life. I knew their day was going to be perfect! And it was. Amy is such a classic beauty and Lewis is her handsome compliment. The bridesmaids carried fans instead of bouquets, which was such a breath of fresh air. I love flowers, don't get me wrong, but this was something out of the ordinary and it really made a statement. The reception room was uplit with purple lighting and I loved every second of it. I don't want to go on a light tirade, but if you want to add major visual interest to what could be a bland reception venue, add some purple uplighting! One more great detail of this wedding was when Amy and her Dad broke from their traditional father/daughter dance into a fast dance number - loved it!
