Kristin + Dustin: Married | Hagerstown, MD Wedding Photographer

Kristin and Dustin exchanged their vows on a beautiful May afternoon at Maranatha Brethern Church in Hagerstown, MD followed by a reception at her parents' home.  The entire day was filled with love, joy, and (this comes as no surprise if you know Kristin + Dustin) fun!

The first time Kristin and I spoke on the phone she was so honest about how excited she was to marry Dustin.  She didn't seem to need to focus on all the wedding details as much as the final goal of being married to the man of her dreams.  I thought that was such an incredible breath of fresh air in a time of Pinterest-perfect weddings.  Details are pretty and help make a wedding more aesthetically pleasing, but, really, what the day is all about is two people who fell so in love they want to spend their lives as one.  Because of this wonderful attitude, Kristin and Dustin had a love-filled day surrounded by all their loved ones and celebrated their union well into the night.

Congratulations again, Kristin + Dustin!  We are so thankful to have witnessed your two beautiful souls become one and document this perfect day for you!  We wish you nothing but the absolute best in your marriage.

Kristin + Dustin's faith is so important to them and at the base of their relationship, so I thought it was incredibly thoughtful and sweet of Dustin to gift Kristin with this beautiful bible the evening before their wedding.
Kristin and her sister, Lauren, have one of those relationships that makes me sad I didn't have a sister growing up.  Brothers are great, but sometimes you just want to share certain moments with your sister/best friend.
Lauren said a prayer for Kristin on her wedding day surrounded by all her bridesmaids.  It was such a beautiful moment.
Meanwhile, Dustin was getting ready...

We went outside for a few quick photos before the ceremony started.
How beautiful are these siblings?!
They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so we were able to photograph their portraits in the beautiful evening light before they partied the night away!
I'm always so honored when the couple wants a photo with me!!
