Jen + Jim: Engaged | Grounds for Sculpture - New Jersey Engagement Photographer

Jen and Jim are such a breath of fresh air.  You don't have to be around them for very long to realize how much fun these two are and how much they truly enjoy each other's company.  Jim can easily bring a smile to Jen's lips and before long she is breaking out into an infectious giggle.  I love being around couples who are so comfortable with each other.  But, what makes this couple even more fun is their unique view to wedding planning.  Instead of a basic reception, they are planning a murder mystery dinner for their guests.  Impressive, right?  It gets better.  They are holding their ceremony and reception at The Hotel Hershey.  This is a dream venue and I can't wait to document their beautiful day at this fabulous location.

We shot their engagement session at Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey.  This location fit Jen and Jim perfectly.  Not only do they frequent the venue, but its beautiful, unique, and so much fun.  Just like them.

Gorgeous!

Cake Smash Session | Hagerstown, MD Children Photographer

So when one of my favorite Moms contacted me about a cake smash session for her daughter's first birthday at my studio I was thrilled!  She had so many good ideas, I had visions - it was a match made in messy baby heaven.  However, Myra had other plans.  As in being extremely lady-like and using a spoon for much of the session.  Even though we didn't get any truly smashed photos, we did get some pretty cute ones.  After the cake smash photos, we did a few photos of both Myra and her big sister, Marielle.  I love shooting in my studio and I think we are able to achieve such a classic, beautiful look.  Enjoy!

Time to get messy!  Looooove this shot.
Time for big sis to help out!
Myra, however, appeared more interested in my camera
Out came the spoon...
 I think she approves :)

Beth + Joe: Married | Chambersburg, PA Wedding Photographer

I fell in love with these two super quick.  Unfortunately, I never met Joe prior to the wedding day since he and Beth live in Erie where Joe is currently pursuing a degree in the medical field.  However, I did meet with Beth a few times and I knew it was going to be a wonderful day.  I was wrong.  It was an amazing, magnificent, beyond wonderful wedding day!  Beth and Joe are always laughing.  And when they're not laughing, they are full of some other emotion that makes them one of the sweetest couples to work with.  Although I had still not met Joe prior to the ceremony (since I was with the ladies all morning), when he could barely finish his vows due to being overwhelmed with happiness, I. Was. Sold.  That spoke more to me than if I asked him how he felt about Beth.  And the same goes for Beth.  Earlier in the day, she became emotional once her dress was on and it finally felt real.  I knew then it was going to be a day full of love and laughter.

Beth and Joe were married June 22, 2013 in front of all their fabulous family and friends.  To say this was a fun wedding would be an understatement.  All of their family and friends like to have fun and laugh just as much as Beth and Joe!

Congratulations again, Beth and Joe, we wish you many blessings and all the happiness in the world.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your beautiful day and documenting your amazing love.

Special thanks to the following vendors for making their day perfect:

Ceremony: Corpus Christi Catholic Church
Reception: Wilson College
Catering: SAGE Dining Services @ Wilson College
Dress: J&B Bridals
Florist/Decor: The Gala Event

This wedding holds a special place in my heart.  Aaron and I were married in this church and it brought back so many memories from our wedding day.
Beth was one of the most beautiful brides!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to do an engagement session.  I always worry a tiny bit about how couples will interact for photos, especially since they haven't had a practice session...
Well, no worries here!  These two were so natural and amazing to photograph!
Love Aaron's view.
LOVE this shot.
They are huge Penn State fans :)
The Gala Event did a wonderful job with the room.
I told you the reception was entertaining.
