{Nature Photography: Kings Gap State Park - Carlisle, PA}

Kings Gap State Park is a beautiful, and relatively unknown, park in central Pennsylvania. There is an amazing 1900's house overlooking a breath-taking view of the Cumberland Valley, in addition to gardens and miles of hiking trails. My husband, Aaron, and I spent an entire Sunday afternoon there just reveling in the beauty of this park.

{Introductions}

It all started the summer before my senior year of college. I needed 3 credits toward my Communication/Journalism degree and thought why not take a summer photograhy class - this should be simple enough! Well I gained way more than 3 credits that summer. I gained an understanding and appreciation for photography. Not point and shoot digital photography - 35mm, dark room developing photography. Prior to my class I never owned a camera, so after I completed the class I rushed out and bought my very own Nikon digital camera. This camera, although extremely limiting, definitely held its own for a very long time, but recently I've had a deep desire to elaborate on my photography skills and continue to grow and learn. I'm now the proud owner of a Canon DSLR. This blog will showcase my photography skills as I journey toward something big.
