{Impromptu}

Aaron and I got to watch our neice, Claire, for a few hours so I thought I'd take advantage of the beautiful (cloudy!) spring evening and snap a couple pictures of her. As usual those beautiful blue eyes are stunning! Enjoy!

{Spring is Here!}

We've been enjoying the spring weather so much here in the north east. Usually there is more rain and wind involved (and sometimes a little snow!), but this year we've been extremely fortunate with all the beautiful weather. So Aaron and I took advantage of the lovely day a few Sundays ago and walked around a lake near our house. This lake is absolutely gorgeous, plus there is a trail that completely encircles it so you can bike or hike it.

Love this bright little clump of flowers amongst all the brown!

When I bumped the saturation up a teeny bit it displayed this faded green to brown look. I think it really made the picture more visually interesting.

Love old houses and love old trees!!

This is the trail I was telling you about..isn't it so peaceful looking?!

I definitely can't wait to get out and enjoy more of the outdoors this spring and summer. Now if only our house can give us a break! We do have some fun trips planned though. We're heading to Longwood Gardens and the National Arboretum in the near future so I can't wait to share some of those pictures! Hope everyone is having a great (and quick!) week :)

{Goings On}

Hi! It's been quite a while since I've posted and there is no excuse. Well, maybe a little excuse...moving! I didn't realize before how life changing a new house can be. This is actually our second (fixer upper) house in the past 3 years and it's taking a back seat to our very busy lives.

So onto other interesting changes. I now have a SmugMug account and I couldn't be more excited about this! SmugMug is a great site where I can upload photos and my clients can order the prints of their choice. All the galleries are private and are only accessible to those who have the password. Also, another great feature is that I can create Christmas cards, birth announcements, birthday invitations, thank you cards - whatever your heart desires! Below are a couple examples:

This is a folded card so the pink part would be the front (sorry it's upside down!) and the picture side would be the inside.

I love these cards! If you're interested in booking a session or finding out more about my print prices, please feel free to reach me at jenniferrotz@gmail.com.
