Small Business Saturday | Canvas Sale

I am in love with the concept of Small Business Saturday.  Because I hate Black Friday.  I just despise everything it stands for: big box/chain stores, greed, and overall insanity.  Small business owners put in SO many hours and hard work to provide their customers and clients with a high-quality service or product.  I come from a long line of small business owners, so it's completely understandable why I feel so passionate about this topic.

Last year, we bought a computer and camera bag at local, small stores.  And if felt so good!  This year we plan to do the same (minus a new computer!) and are challenging ourselves to only patronize small businesses, NO chains.  This includes eating meals, shopping, gas stations, etc.  It's definitely possible and a fun concept all at the same time.  PLUS, it's supporting your local economy, which in turn supports your town.  This is especially important to us homeowners who are concerned with property value.
