Brittany + Dewey: Married | Frederick, MD Wedding Photographer

Brittany and Dewey were married at Musket Ridge Golf Club on one of the hottest days of the summer so far.  Despite the soaring temps, they were one of the kindest, sweetest couples we've had the pleasure of working with.  Their wedding day hardly even felt like work, but more that we were hanging out with friends.  Except we were the friends who had really expensive camera equipment and were taking photos of them all day ;) I don't think Brittany stopped smiling the entire day.  She never once was upset, worried, or stressed.  She only showed pure happiness and excitement to be marrying Dewey.  That, in addition to the sweet and gentle love that they share, made their wedding day one of the best ones yet.

Congratulations again, Brittany and Dewey, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for asking us to document this perfect day forever.  We are so thankful to have met you guys!!

Thank you so much to the following vendors for making their day perfect:

Ceremony: Musket Ridge Golf Club

Cake: Sugar Whipped
Florist: Ory Florals

Hair/Makeup: Sagittarius Salon + Spa

The day began at Sagittarius Salon in Hagerstown, MD.  Not only is Sagittarious a beautiful salon, but they do stunning work.
Makeup photos have quickly become one of my favorite moments to photograph on a wedding day.  I can really challenge myself to create interesting images and am forced to work with the space and light that is available.
I love this photo because it tells such a great story.  Wedding day selfies are here today, but will not be popular forever so it truly creates a time and place.
After hair and makeup, we moved on to Musket Ridge to get ready and get married!
Brittany wins best shoes so far this year!  I love the zipper detail in the front.
I loved being able to use the light in the bridal suite to our advantage.  It wasn't good light, but when used well really told the getting ready story in an interesting way.
Dewey sent over the perfect letter to his bride
In the meantime, Dewey was getting ready...
Huge props to Clare for creating this image.  I'm a little jealous it isn't mine ;)
Time to get married!
Brittany was such a beautiful bride.  As cheesy as this sounds, I told her she actually looked like a Barbie doll that day!
One of the prettiest images.  Definitely a 2014 favorite!
Musket Ridge is a beautiful venue and their wedding definitely showcased that.
We went outside for a very quick sunset session.  It was breathtaking!
Please don't mind my appearance - it was a 90 degree summer day ;)  But I wanted to share this photo and just say how thankful I am to be recommended to a bride from her friend (and Matron of Honor!), Kelli, who was also my bride.  There is no better way to thank us then to recommend us to friends and family!
