Sometimes, when we're really lucky, we'll photograph a couple that makes us feel more like guests with REALLY fancy cameras instead of vendors. Yes, we did know Libby and Adam prior to their wedding day, but their entire family and friend base made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Everyone at this wedding LOVES to have a good time and it's those weddings that true, raw emotion show through in the photos.
They were married on September 1, 2012 on Adam's parent's beautiful property. Even though the wedding was stunning and there were a lot of wonderful details, the laid back vibe of their personalities permeated through to their wedding day.
Libby and Adam, thank you for making us feel like we didn't work for one second of a 10 hour wedding day :)
The Bombshell Salon did a wonderful job on Libby's hair and makeup.
There is just something about this image. Definitely a 2012 favorite.
Grooms have it WAY easier. Aaron spent a few minutes with Adam getting ready and then they were off for the first look.
I love myself a good first look and this was definitely a good one.
This was Aaron's shot and I am in love with it.
After the first look, we went down to a beautiful Weeping Willow tree. It's amazing what beautiful images can be produced with just one single tree.
Libby is such a natural beauty. Gorgeous.
This is probably my favorite shot of the wedding and last year.
Libby and her bridesmaids were ushered in on this!
The amazing field of sunflowers was planted by Adam's family. I was so excited when I found this out, how beautiful!
Love this first kiss :)
After the family portraits, we still had a little time leftover for more photos - I HAD to take advantage of that sunflower field!
Summer of
Summer Thyme Floral did a wonderful job with not only all the floral arrangements, but also the decor. This is the second wedding I worked with her and she did excellent work both times.
Love the simple elegance of the wedding cake.
